Preschool Teacher

The Academy for Active Learners is seeking a new full-time Co-Teacher in our pre-k classroom! Come help teach our kids and prepare them for kindergarten! Candidate requirements: -Teaching experience (2 years) -Lots of energy, great attitude, team-player mentality! -Knowledgeable in developmental stages of children and teaching strategies! -Excellent communication skills, to relate to children, co-teachers and parents! -Some college a plus! -Great attitude! Responsibilities: - Follow age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum planned by lead teacher - Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions - Foster a love of learning and encourage student engagement - Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about student progress - Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment Skills: - Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Positive attitude and team player mentality As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners.

This is a full time teaching position with shifts either 7:45-4:45, 8-5 or 8:30-5:30 throughout the week with a one hour lunch break.
