The Customer Relations Manager will work alongside Maine Tour Company’s Management Team and will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries from the first point of contact through the completion of their tour activities and beyond for the 4 tour companies under Maine Tour Company's umbrella.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a positive, outgoing attitude, be friendly and personable, enjoy collaborating on problem-solving tasks, and have the ability to handle customer needs, feedback, and complaints in a constructive and goal-oriented manner.
They should have 1-2 years of customer service experience, be proficient in using Google Suite software, and be able to adapt quickly to additional support softwares utilized, such as Fareharbor, Front App, OpenPhone, and Slack.
The candidate should also have extreme attention to detail, superior organizational and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, self-discipline to work independently, and enjoy being a team player.
They should be able to solve problems quickly and creatively, and be open to learning new skills, responsibilities, and cloud-based software as required by the business.
*Responsibilities:*
- Manage and oversee all customer relations via phone, text, and email
- Analyze customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement
- Communicate with customers to address inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Negotiate and resolve customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience
*Requirements*:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (multilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus)
- Proven experience in customer service or related field
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and preferences
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex customer issues
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and reach mutually beneficial solutions
