Business Insights Analyst, Credit Risk Data Management is responsible for collecting data/information to interpret data, produce insights, create relevant data visualization reports, and recommend actions on less complex issues to support business needs.
The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, previous experience working with RRDW, BLDM and/or MLEDM environments with specific skills in issue resolution, tracking JIRA tickets and working with multiple stakeholders.
The role provides consultative support, business insight, advice and expertise to guide decision making and/or strategic planning by leveraging and interpreting data and analytical models.
Familiarity with the retail or commercial portfolio data will be useful.
Candidate knowledge and experience with Alteryx is advantageous.
Job Details Depth & Scope: Works independently as the senior analyst / subject matter expert and may coach and educate others Considered a subject matter expert within a given area Oversees and/or independently performs tasks from end to end Focus on short to medium -term issues (e.
g.
monthly-quarterly) Independently performs activities from end to end Produces weekly or monthly visual dashboards which evaluate performance and effectiveness of tactics in all business lines supported Analyzes trends, provide insights and recommendations.
Presents results, customer trends and other insight to business stakeholders and decision makers in a clear concise manner Validates the quality and integrity of data in various bank systems and from external sources.
Works with business units and marketing partners to understand business drivers, definitions, metrics in order to interpret findings, take action and provide meaningful direction Gathers, documents and designs data integration and visualization requirements for analytical projects Contributes to review of processes and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies Customer Accountabilities: Applies understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and meaningful data analysis and materials to support the creation and maturation of business goals and objectives Develops analysis and proper dashboards to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities Produces insights and recommend business actions to support business strategy and/or solve business problems Works in partnership with various functional areas to provide day-to-day support and delivery of analytics Executes on data requests accurately and within a timely manner Represents functional area as an analytics & insights professional and key resource Acts as a bridge to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain while leveraging tools/ techniques/ methods that can be easily interpreted by the target audience Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics insights and collateral Contributes to the identification of key performance indicators Job Requirements Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or specialization in one of the fields below 3 + years of relevant experience from a information management, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background or Graduate Degree and 1-3 years relevant experience.
Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of analytical and reporting software packages Strong knowledge of programing languages (i.
e.
