Prep Cook Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to have a leadership position at the newly opened Ocotillo Brunch and Events! As the Prep Team Lead you are interested in learning about both the smoked meats program along with our Prep Kitchen operations.
Here is a look at what your days and roles would look like Wednesday thru Sunday: 5AM-9AM --> Responsible for the smoked meats program at Ocotillo.
Dedicated training and onsite coordination directly with the owner of the company and the smokehouse leader.
9AM-1PM--> Coordinate the day's prep list in alignment with both The Chef and The Bar Manager.
Ensuring that the prep list for the day is completed.
Ensuring that The Prep Team is managing their time wisely.
Ensuring that the space is kept in an orderly fashion.
Completing the days prep list.
In this role, a hunger to learn and grow within the company is apart of coming onboard.
Early morning's are apart of the job.
You come to work with a positive attitude and an ability to lead a team in a soft, kind and organized manner.
You are proactive and understand how to multi-task.
Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
A passion for smoked meats and preparing food from scratch is a must! We are a full-house tip pool at Ocotillo! Expect a base hourly rate + tips.
