SUMMARY OF THE JOB: Position reports to the Head of Product and Profitability and is one of the senior product analysts for the department.
Responsible for leading deposit product development function and is accountable for new product development and pricing recommendations that align with the Bank’s relationship profitability and PPNR-related goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Recommends appropriate product development initiatives based on changes in the marketplace and industry.
Identifies, quantifies, and recommends ideas to capitalize on market opportunities.
Works with D&A partners and marketing to ensure that product suite continues to drive customer acquisition, retention, and outstanding customer experience which leads to growth in services per household/relationship.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Product Development and Product Management • Responsible for the identification and recommendation of new products to meet business goals.
Recommends appropriate pricing strategy, including interest rate assumptions to evaluate the impact on net interest margin.
Responsible for all cannibalization projections, including numbers of accounts, shifts in deposit/loan dollars and incremental interest income/expense to the Bank.
• Evaluate, prioritize and initiate implementation of suggestions from the field as they relate to products, system parameters, and notifications that directly touch customers.

Product Research and Analytics • Direct, plan, and execute research (qualitative and quantitative) for new product development.
Develop and recommend strategies and implement tactics based on results and implications.

Work in cross-functional teams to understand business issues, and develop solutions that will yield actionable insights into the drivers of business growth.
Uses appropriate research methodologies to identify key opportunity consumer segments for Liberty.
• Primary liaison providing analytical capabilities and actionable research to management and business lines in support of business objectives.
• Develops and presents recommendations based off of research results to address topics of training, staffing, facility or operational issues, or other action steps centered on consistent delivery of Liberty’s brand.
Organize cross functional teams and implement corrective action bank wide to ensure higher levels of customer satisfaction.
• Leverage all internal and external data to identify, recommend, and execute measurable programs designed to increase households, generate income, and increase retention for the bank.

Business Results • Recommends product-pricing strategies to generate increases in fee income and maintain net interest margin goal.
• Work with D&A partners to develop meaningful and actionable reporting information to ensure timely business decisions.
Develop, design and manage ad hoc analysis projects as required.
Conduct analysis of performance measures related to key business drivers.
Recommends projections for business plans.
• Manage the development, implementation, and execution of market intelligence and external trend analysis.
Research and analyze market to capitalize on opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
Employs data to provide insight and recommendations concerning Liberty’s capacity to compete successfully in the market place.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS • BS/ BA Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics • Five + years of progressive product management experience to include pricing strategies and analysis to drive profitable growth across business lines • Demonstrated experience in business financial modeling and forecasting, metrics/scorecards, , modeling applications, forecasting & financial calculations.
Broad knowledge of industry data sources, statistical concepts and techniques • Proven project management, analytical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to communicate with and influence decision makers.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously to deadline.
