Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

The Medical Assistant will greet and room patients, assist with scheduling appointments and collect personal information from patients.
This position is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping physicians with treatment and administering vaccines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the substance use disorder; be flexible and have a sense of humor; be mindful, kind and honor and appreciate all forms of diversity.
Office hours are typically 8:30 – 5:00pm (Mon – Fri) with some flexibility as needed.

Position Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of duties in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Successful completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited vocational institution or community college.
License/Certifications: Current BLS required or must be obtained within 3 months from start of employment.
Experience: Minimum one year's experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
Ability to excel in a team-based care environment.
Working knowledge of continuous process improvement.
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations
Analytical ability required to gather and interpret information necessary to resolve problems.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others
Proficient computer skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
