If you recognize this lyric from "In A Big Country" chorus you'll know what comes next! I'm a guitar player with a love of this band and their music for 40 years and am looking for some like minded folks to play these tunes.
Either for fun or for a tribute, whatever it becomes.
I had this idea for a tribute called "Lost Patrol" (after the song title) but that may be too obscure.
There's a successful BC tribute band in Scotland, but I think they made enough of an impact here in US to pique some curiosity among listeners.
Especially if combined with a little Alarm, Simple Minds, etc.
Of course BC is still touring with Bruce and Mark as original members.
Emphasis on the first four albums and Buffalo Skinners, some B sides(like All Of Us) although Driving to Damascus and the Journey not off the page.
I've performed Eiledon, IABC, Chance and a few others in bands before.
Adept with Ebow, delays, MXR pitch transposer.
Can handle backup vox but not leads.
Stuart's are big shoes to fill.
Can work up either Bruce or Stuarts guitar parts.
Hit me up if interested and tell me you favorite Big Country songs.
Looking for drums, bass, lead vox and another guitar And if you write music in this vein and need guitar, don't be shy! I'm in Saco but will travel.
I'm in two bands currently so time management and scheduling needs to be handled professionally.
