About the Role
The Spa Manager is responsible for upholding our company values and supporting a positive workplace culture.
This position is guest-facing.
Ideal Candidates
Have experience in a spa setting with a passion for wellness.
Are friendly and motivated.
Are excellent communicators.
Have experience in a retail setting.
Love connecting with people.
Have both spa and hourly scheduling experience.
Licensed Massage Therapist (preferred but not mandatory).
Responsibilities
Maintain a full spa schedule and drive sales, promotions, and retail sales.
Oversee the daily operations of the spa.
Train and oversee Wellness Coordinators and LMTs.
Build, support, and maintain a strong, positive workplace culture.
Review feedback and respond to guest reviews.
Respond to all incoming guest-related communications.
Maintain a clean and safe spa environment and retail area.
Complete daily reports and balance sheets.
Hold daily team pre-shift meetings.
Prepare and lead team member reviews.
Maintain PAR level of retailed items.
Monthly Inventory System.
Qualifications
3+ years in a spa setting.
2+ years in managerial or supervisor role.
Experience in the wellness/spa industry.
Experience leading a team.
Experience with scheduling for multiple providers.
Proficient knowledge of relevant software systems and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to calmly multi-task.
Experience in luxury hotel or wellness is preferred

This is a full-time position located in Portland, Maine.
While this job is based in Portland Maine, from time to time, you will be expected to travel to venues and events outside of the Portland area, as the business demands.
