Financial Analyst, Information Technology

Job Description: This is a year round position located in Bath, Maine with onsite requirements.
Responsible for development and maintenance of IT-related financial information; tasks include, but are not limited to: Assist in development of IT financial forecasts and understanding impact of business decisions on company goals.
Develop and maintain processes to improve financial data management and forecasting.
Generate IT rates to support proposals and ad-hoc scenarios based upon projected ship sets or support contracts.
Perform Earned Value Management activities with focus on management of Information Technology cost projections.
Provide oversight of maintenance renewals for all hardware & software.
Support IT Compliance Audits for GD Corporate, DCAA, Sarbanes Oxley, and Security.
Support annual negotiations with IT outsource partner, DXC Technology.
Maintain standard operating procedures and department operating instructions.
Execute miscellaneous analysis and projects.
Review subcontractor invoices and manage tracking log for commitments and reporting.
Required/Preferred Education/Training: BS in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Microsoft Access and Excel skills required to manage and manipulate data/information.
Required/Preferred Experience: 2 years of Finance, Business, or IT experience required.
Good project management skills including prioritization of multiple tasks and deliverables.
Ability and drive to work independently and within a dynamic team environment.
Ability to build strong relationships across the BIW organization is critical.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Highly motivated person with proven analytical skills.
Adept at prioritizing and managing to deadlines.
